A. Ensure that;
The cable drivers are installed and the handset is recognised by your PC
Your firewall(s) both windows and any other 3rd party firewall is
disabled. If you're connection from within a corporate network then this will
not be possible as you will have no control over the corporate firewall.
You will need to carry out the unlocking process from a Personal/Home PC where
you have full control over the status of the firewall.
If you are connection via a router - ensure that you have UDP port enabled
Does your handset connect to a BES (Blackberry Enterprise Server)? If so
then there may be a security policy enabled that is restricting the unlocking
software from connection to your phone...Instructions to remove the policy can
